Student teams researched potential markets for CBD oil and sustainable hemp building materials, considering trade regulations, shipping costs, tariffs, competitors, cultural differences, and regional demand. For Pure Shenandoah, the project provided valuable research into international markets while giving JMU students experience developing real-world business strategies for a Virginia hemp company.
